When does the free trial start?
Download for free and explore the fictional demo first. Your 14-day trial starts when you choose to begin using personal expenses. It does not start a subscription, and there is no automatic charge when it ends.
What happens after the trial?
Full Unlock costs $9.99 USD as a one-time purchase in the U.S. App Store. It lets you keep adding and editing personal expenses, with no subscription. Prices vary by country or region; your local App Store price is shown in the app before purchase. Without Full Unlock, existing expenses remain available to view, export, and delete.
How do I restore Full Unlock?
Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Restoring Full Unlock restores your purchase entitlement; it does not restore your expense data. Use iCloud sync or a backup to recover your library.
Where did my shared receipt go?
Shared photos are queued for your personal Inbox. If you are in Demo, open Inbox and choose Shared receipts, or return to your personal library in Settings → Demo library.
Why is a capture waiting in Inbox?
Receipt and voice capture create drafts. Open the draft to check any missing or uncertain details, then approve it when ready. Your original receipt remains available for another attempt.
How do I import a file?
Open Settings → Import expenses and choose one CSV, TSV, or delimited TXT file. Check the suggested columns and examples, resolve rows needing attention, then confirm the preview. See the file preparation guide if your export needs conversion.
Why is my location missing?
A printed address can be matched through Apple Maps when that setting is on. You can also choose a place or pin while editing. Optional device location fills a missing place on new captures when iOS grants permission; it may be unavailable or may describe where the photo was taken rather than where a purchase happened.
Can I move my data to a new iPhone?
Use Settings → Backup and restore to export a portable archive. You can also turn on iCloud synchronization for your private Apple account. Keep a copy of an export before replacing a device or deleting the app.
Can I try the app without my own expenses?
Yes. Settings → Try demo opens a separate fictional library. It never merges with your personal expenses.
